Use either ChatGPT or Claude. You can start with files before connecting a store.

What should I upload and type?

Download and unzip the source files.
Open skills → shopify-product-listing. Attach the following three documents in a new chat:
- SKILL.md — instructions for a product listing.
- listing-fields.md — product details to check.
- qa-checklist.md — a checklist for reviewing the draft.
Provide the product name, approved specifications, intended customer and brand tone. Write unknown where a fact is missing.
Copy the first-task request. Review the draft and checklist before using them.

Keep passwords, API keys, payment details and unnecessary customer information out of chats and uploads.

What can I ask next?

Try “Plan today's work” with your client brief and task list, or “Prepare my handover” with your work log and verification evidence.

The eight-job guide lists the right files and required facts. Copy a sample request. Client policies, stock thresholds and escalation roles come from the owner.

Optional store connection

The public connection is not available yet. Shopify review, public app installation and live client tests remain pending. The existing development-store connector does not grant access to unrelated merchant stores.

Our connection is read-only. Product/variant/stock evidence and permitted order details may be incomplete or unavailable. It never sends messages, edits products, collects payments or issues refunds. A separate editing integration requires its own access and task approval.

How do I disconnect?

Inside the Shopify app, the owner can disconnect an approved AI connection. Remove it from ChatGPT or Claude as well. Uninstalling the Shopify app invalidates its store connections. Removing a connection does not delete conversations already held by the AI service.

If something does not work

The guide file will not upload: Try a .txt copy or paste the text. Check your account's upload limits.
Sign-in expired: Start a new connection request. Do not reuse an expired or approved request code.
Owner approval is required: Ask the store owner to review the request inside Shopify. Staff can read allowed evidence but cannot approve an offline AI connection.
An order or product is unavailable: Check the selected store, identifier, read permissions and access window. Unavailable does not prove that a record never existed.
The list is incomplete: Read the next page or state which records were checked. Do not claim a full review.
